Our lightest, most compact, most flexible, and lowest-cost slipper yet. The new, limited edition, Kanga slippers champion simplicity without compromising on the style, comfort and quality you’d expect from any other Baabuk product.
As with all our slippers, our Kangas are handcrafted by our team of artisans in Nepal, using the traditional art form of wool felting. It’s considered the oldest textile in the world that only uses water and soap!
Our usual latex sole has been replaced with a simple latex coating to maximize flexibility, harvested sustainably from rubber trees. All so that you know that the materials in your slippers are responsibly sourced from heel to toe.
Quality: Designed in Switzerland. Handmade in Nepal by local artisans.
Materials: Natural wool uppers from New Zealand sheep. Mulesing-free. Latex-dipped, lightweight sole protection. Includes inner sole made of natural wool and cotton.
Care: Do not use the washing machine or detergents. Washing machines, aggressive soaps, and chemicals/alcohols may cause the natural soles to melt. Clean the surface with humid cloth to remove dirt and soles with a baking soda solution. Repair kit and replacement insoles are available for increased longevity.

Choosing the right shoes online can be difficult, in addition to regular sizing, we offer additional measurements in the chart below so that you can measure your foot to get the perfect fit.
Please note that our shoes are made of wool. Wool is a stretchable material that will adapt itself to your foot. In general we recommend that if you have a larger feet or if you are in between two sizes to take the size above (e.g EU 42 1/2 -> 43).

In order to choose your perfect pair just measure the length and girth of your feet.
To measure the length you can put your feet on a with page of paper and draw the line in front and at the back of your feet (the highest point at the front and at the back). The length can vary between 1 and 2 mm. To measure the girth you will circle your feet at the ball part. Check this link how to measure the ball girth.
If your feet is large we suggest that you choose the size above that is matching to the girth given in our chart.

Please not that if the size you choose doesn't fit you perfectly you can exchange your shoes.
Slipper Sizing:
The slipper are hand-felted in one piece without any stitching. The advantage of these kind of slippers is that with the time, your feel will continue to felt the slippers and they will take the shape of your feet.
We have cut the opening of the shoes a little bit tighter. For the kids and female sizes we have cut a little 'V' cut to make it easier to enter the shoe. In case you feel it is still too tight, just cut with scissors the 'V' a little bit bigger.

It’s so surprising how something so minimal and thin becomes one of the most comfortable shoes I own. Really makes me realise that less is more, and natural is the way forward. I am using it for strength training and walking — it’s been about a month and it’s holding up well so far. My only wish is that they make these shoes more affordable!
Love my new Vivobarefoot shoes, they are the weatherproof edition so I can’t wait to try them in the wet weather. So comfy for every day too.

I've been thrashing my Duckfeet for over two months now. On footpaths, roads, and hiking trails, beaches, ice and snow...and they just continue to satisfy. No matter if the temps are -19º or 17º they keep my feet so dry and warm.
These babies have been on my feet almost constantly the last few weeks. They’ve climbed mountains, clambered rocks and walked beaches. They’ve accompanied my feet to dinner and have walked all over cities and through beautiful towns. They’ve been deliciously warm in sub-zero temps (but not hot on the warmer days) and so incredibly comfortable. Would recommend and buy again in more colours.

The shoes came really quick too
Started using them after getting sore feet from work safety boots, they seem to have solved that issue, and in addition they lasted over 2 years with regular use, so worth the price.
Simply put these shoes are wonderful. I’m not young anymore and have unfortunate feet, bunions and hammer toes. I decided on the men’s size as advised by the store to give me more room. The leather is lovely and soft and the barefoot walking bliss. I now have 2 pairs and will probably go for a third before too long. I can highly recommend them
