Fifty years ago, Duckfeet® took its first steps with a simple yet powerful mission: to craft footwear that embraces natural comfort, durability, and Danish craftsmanship.

Remaining true to the original designs for half a century is no small feat. In the spirit of Apelles' wisdom—"Let the cobbler stick to his last"—Duckfeet® have always believed that true quality comes from refining what they do best. That is why, alongside celebrating their 50th anniversary, Duckfeet® are also paying tribute to their two original styles, Jylland and Sjælland.

To mark this milestone, Duckfeet have released a very special anniversary model: Helsingør in gold. This exclusive edition will only be produced during this anniversary year. Crafted from our signature soft Pebbled leather, Helsingør embodies the natural texture and quality that define Duckfeet® shoes.

Soft Pebbled Leather

Terracare® Leather offers a perfect balance of sustainability and timeless sophistication in a soft, pebbled texture. Ethically crafted in Germany, the eco-friendly leather ensures breathability, durability, and a refined feel. Designed to age beautifully, it develops a unique character over time.

Style: Classic desert boot
Upper: Water- and eco-conscious terracare® buttersoft pebbled leather. 2,5mm thick full-grain leather
Midsole: Vegetable tanned leather
Lining: None
Insole: terracare® leather
Outsole: Natural crepe rubber. Soft and shock absorbing. They allow our shoes to be repairable and resolable
Arch: The insole is flat and allows for natural movement of the foot and toes. Most inserts and orthotics are well-accommodated. If you require arch support we have special insoles made for duckfeet
Fit: Medium-to-wide fit with a wide toe box that allows toes to splay naturally. Offered in European gender-neutral sizes
Origin: All materials originate in Europe. Shoes are hand crafted in Poland

The Duckfeet Philosophy: Craftsmanship and Character

Duckfeet in Denmark have been making shoes by hand for over forty years. Duckfeet are simple and functional, typical of mid-20th century Danish design.

Duckfeet foot-formed design allows room for the toes to spread naturally as you walk, and for air to reach the feet. Leather midsoles and uppers breathe and transport moisture away from the foot. We use leather because it strong and long-lasting, but also flexible – allowing the shoe to move with and mould to your individual foot shape.

No two pairs of Duckfeet are exactly alike. Every pair of shoes is treated individually during production, the natural tanning and processing by hand allows for subtle variations in the leather. These variations are highlighted by the particular way you wear them, which imbues each shoe with personality, your story, for your life.

Foot Shaped

Promotes natural foot movement, enhancing overall comfort and foot health.

Low Heel-To-Toe Drop

Minimal heel elevation (5mm), promoting a more natural foot position.

No Toe Spring

The toes lay flat and are not elevated above the ball of the foot, maintaining natural foot mechanics.

Wide Toe Box

A wide toe box allows natural toe splay, enhancing comfort, balance, and foot health by reducing pressure and friction.

Flexible

A flexible sole allows natural motion of the foot, enhancing comfort and mobility.
