A closed-back sandal with an open toe, on a contoured cork-and-rubber footbed, made in Portugal.
The Lene sits somewhere between a sandal and a shoe. A closed heel and side panels give the foot a sense of being properly held; an open toe and side vents let the air move through. The single side strap adjusts with a hidden velcro under the buckle — the look of a fixed strap with the fit of an adjustable one.
Underneath, the same cork-and-rubber footbed the season is built on. Cork that moulds to your foot with wear. A flexible natural rubber outsole for grip. A foot-shaped last with room across the toes.
Made in Portugal in soft tumbled leather that softens further with wear.
