2 reviewsAt The Natural Shoe Store we love great design and working with great designers.
In our opinion the greatest ever designer is Mother Nature. So, our focus is on shoes, boots, sandals and slippers that are naturally shaped, made from natural materials and are produced with as little impact on the environment as possible.
What this means for you is shoes that work with your feet rather than sending them in directions they weren’t designed to go. Over the last decade, thousands of customers told us wearing our shoes corrected foot-health and postural issues.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and create, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, and pay respect to the ongoing living cultures of First Peoples. Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
Very happy with my Barebarics. they are a lovely looking shoe, and very comfortable. I’ve been wearing barefoot style fabric shoes for a couple of years and wanted a more durable pair. These are super comfortable, lightweight and really well made. Enough toe room that I can wear toe spacers. The soles are a little less flexible than my fabric shoes but that is to be expected in this much more durable leather shoe, and I think that once the leather is fully worn in they’ll only be more comfortable! That said, I wore them all day as soon as I got them without any issues. Love them!
These shoes are dangerous - you WILL want to swap out all your shoes for their sexier barefoot cousins once you start this journey, so beware!
I took the recommendation of sizing up and promptly returned them, realizing this suggestion may be more appropriate for those with less barefoot mileage, aka crinkled corporate toes. I usually wear a 9.5 US and have ended up with 40 EU, the equivalent size, and I am in love.
It's early days, as I've only had these for a few weeks, so I am curious how they will hold up, as there is little to them. I will update this review in a few months ;)
Thank you for the wonderful, prompt service from Natural Shoe Store with my purchase and return. Although I would love free returns on sizing concerns (please?).
To whoever is reading this, you are made for great things. You can do this!
Ordered the Duckfeet Klitmoller slides for a 5 week overseas trip to US/Ireland/UK and I wore them every day! They are super comfortable, the wool lining doesn't get too hot, and adds a bit of extra comfort. I got loads of compliments and questions about them. The team at The Natural Shoe Store were extremely helpful when I was considering the purchase, emailing back and forth with me to ensure I had the right size and offering exchange options which would suit (considering I was going overseas in a matter of days) if I got the wrong size (thankfully that wasn't needed but it was very appreciated!).
I'll be looking for my next pair of Duckfeet next year and will definitely be purchasing from here again.
There was a minor issue with my order, but a friendly staff member promptly reached out and offered an alternative. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise! These boots are amazing – they’re not cheap, but they’re a true investment. I can’t stop wearing them! Thank you so much :)
Cannot speak highly enough of these shoes (as well as the phone support I got when calling asking about the sizing). Worth every dollar. My feet are sooo happy. I thought they’d need “breaking in”…no such thing. In fact I don't want to take them off at home!
These are my second Mols and sixth pair of Duckfeet overall and I love them. I find that I have to size up in the Mols - I comfortably wear Sjaellands, Himmerlands, Jyllands and Lollands in a size 43 but need a size 44 in the Mols to get the same fit/comfort. The turquoisey-green colour of this pair is beautiful and unusual, the style meets my work’s requirement for closed toes/heels but the Mols still feel like wearing sandals in summer (I wear them with socks in winter) and they’re *cute*, which can be a hard quality to find when you have big feet. I have ten-year-old Duckfeet that are still going strong and I look forward to wearing these ones for years to come.
I love the colour (bio) of my new Ringkobing shoes - it goes with everything. They are surprisingly soft and streamlined - I thought they might look a bit too chunky but they are great. I have difficult feet with severe arthritis in some of my toes. These shoes don't hurt - they give and stretch - just what I need. Very happy.
These shoes look great and after a week or two of wear are becoming very comfortable. At first the leather was a little stiff but I can tell they will soften with time and feel great. The leather has a lovely matte finish-I’m glad it’s not shiny. I love the natural cocoa colour too. The soles are rubber and not plastic which is another plus. I am usually a women’s size 8 and EU39 fit me perfectly. Happy with my Jyllands.
My third pair of duckfeet and purchased the Nyborg for winter as I now can't go back to squeezing my feet into shoes that are too narrow. The shoes are heavy which is their only downside for travel but such quality - my first pair of duckfeet I've been wearing regularly now for over 5 years and they've only gotten more comfortable. The nyborg are solid and toasty warm for winter. I wear mine with orthotics and that works well
Easy and warm to use. I find i need to trim them a bit for the right fit but they last well (this is my second pair) and happy with them
