Size 44 insole was too narrow for my Duckfeet Helsingor size 44 shoes - that's a bad manufacturing mistake! The insole is 3mm or 4mm narrower than the footbed of the shoe at the side adjacent to the big toe area. So, it doesn't extend to the upper and your big toe sits atop an uneven edge between insole and footbed of the shoe. Also, the cork is good, but the top lining is slippery - I've had better insoles! I love my Duckfeet boots, bought from McHugh's in Sydney (great service from Rod). However, I don't like these insoles. I should request a refund.
Conditioned my new Helsingor pebbled leather boots nicely. I condition all my new shoes before wearing them. I put this on and let them sit for a few days before going over with the sponge and horsehair brush before wearing - good product.
I'm a Fyn and Faborg lover. I have many many pairs in many many colours, but I decided to give the lovely Lollands a go.....and I wasn't disappointed. Still breaking them in, but they have that quality sturdiness I expect from duckfeet. The slate colour is beautiful and really does go with everything. Another great shoe addition 👌
