About Dansko
Founded in 1990 by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup, Dansko’s mission is to improve the quality of people’s lives through our products, our passion, and our commitment to a better tomorrow.
A favourite among healthcare and hospitality workers, educators, and anyone who spends all day on their feet, Dansko’s iconic Professional clog launched a comfort revolution. Unique comfort features include a roomy toe box with plenty of “wiggle room” for your toes, a contoured footbed to support your arch and match the natural shape of your foot, and a rocker bottom that reduces fatigue and assists with forward motion while walking.
Dansko shoes are for people who strive to get the most from life. We make shoes that are simply good for your feet – all day, every day – in a range of styles that are just right for you. Like you, we go the extra mile, love what we do, and do our best to make the world a better place.

ADDITIONAL SHOE FIT INFORMATION
Most styles are manufactured in medium width. We offer a range of designs to accommodate a variety of foot types. We now also offer wider clogs.
Fit may be slightly snug when stepping in. Toes should not touch the front of the clog. Heel should move up and down freely as you walk. A variety of closed-back styles, offering such design features as buckles and elastic are added to styles as a design feature to accommodate both high and low insteps. For more information watch the fit video for Professionals and XP Clogs.
Open-back and sandal styles support the full length of the foot. For some wearers, the heel of the foot will meet the back end of the shoe exactly; for others, the heel may be slightly forward of the back of the shoe.
Adjustability is carefully considered in the design of the open-back and sandal uppers, taking the form of buckles, elasticized panels, and convertible heel straps.
