At long last, a pair of sandals that give my broad forefoot and bunion space, are comfortable right out of the box and look modern and fresh. I’m an orthotics wearer usually, but find the support and cushioning in these sandals adequate for casual wear. I will note the height/volume of at the end of the shoes across the toes is a little lower than the rest of the shoe, so as I have somewhat long toes I’m giving the leather a little time to soften across my big toes before wearing for longer periods.
The best part of duckfeet, besides the wide feet, comfy leather, suave style, and public compliments, is that you can give them a whole new life over and over again through the resole. The process was quick and easy (though, I think it could be helpful to send a confirmation of receiving the shoes...) and they were returned with the same worn in style but with fresh bottoms!
I have been wearing my duckfeet almost daily for 3 years. They are wonderful, comfortable and ‘unfussy’.
When the laces wore out I couldn't find replacements until I went to the Duckfeet Australia website. Not only ‘original’ laces, but also leather treatment. I had been using a generic leather cream with barely satisfactory results. Now I can clean and treat the leather with a the excellent Duckfeet product. They look and feel so good!
